Sorry if this has already been asked, but what's the vDroop like with these boards? And, does anyone know how the IP-35 vanilla and IP-35E compare?
This board looks promising for sure, and may just be my next upgrade![]()

Can anyone verify whether the IP35 has SATA/RAID issues, like the P5K?
Is the FSB strap @500 or somewhere else?
(my Commando's is @400).

I have been thinking about ip-35 (non-pro) but its costs £97 - for OTES (i have WC), and FW (i dont use FW) - so its waste of money ... isnt it?![]()

This should answer most of your question:- http://www.abit.com.tw/page/uk/news/...CNO=uk_0705211
You will have to wait till someone purchases the other boards to see if bios is same:-

are you referring to DVD SATA drive running concurrently with Raid 0 (on the Intel bus)???...if so, my internal SATA DVD drive works like a charm alongside two 7200.10 seagate drives on the Intel bus in Raid 0!
i can not run Prime 95 more than 3 minutes at 500 FSB or above with my Q6600...i am stuck at 495 FSB for a safe-reliable operating FSB on the IP35 Pro...i can boot into windows at 500 FSB or slightly above but why push it.

Hi,
Didn't see anyone complain about squealing coils, is this board safety squealing less ? As I'm fed up with the second DFI 965 (first one was DOA) that's squealing .

Actually I was referring to SATA issues in general. SoFarFromHome and others have reported several SATA issues. Don't know if they've been resolved or not but thanks for letting me know about the IP35 in this regard.
495 on a Q6600 is quite good.
I'm wondering if there's a strap in between 400-500 FSB on the IP35 Pro. I've read the DQ6 has a strap change around 417 and some say higher. I'm looking for a board with at least a 485 or higher strap. It will allow me greater flexibility when I go to water.
