AMD has the license since 1994, i bet i has been renewed in all this years that is why i wondered / asked for a link to the original license to read it.
FYI, there is no renewal of the license. It is a PERPETUAL, ROYALTY FREE license. And Intel can't change that (legally binding contract/settlement).

In exchange for that, Intel gets free use of ANY additions to the x86 architecture that AMD makes (a la x64).
