does this board run OK with crucial ballistix pc5300 ram (and ballistix in general, 6400/8500) or does it need the spd changed to work? How does it handle 4x1gb btw?

Im pretty sure it will be no trouble, I remember Dinos saying that pc4200 didnt work till he flashed it; I think Id know about it if pc5300 didnt work.

Crucial pc6400 works great:

This is pretty untweaked just vcore 1.375v and vdimm 1.95v with timings auto. I think it shows a good Ram speed considering the low vdimm. Ive seen 600Mhz ram but with 2.45v and probably tweaked timings too.

I can boot at 395fsb x6, I think its my CPU holding the fsb back though.

Ya megatron said 4X1GB runs great. I am using Crucial Ballistixs (PC2-8000). 515MHz is no problem here.
