DDR3 is the only difference. Here are the differences between all the P35-boards (Dutch). The P35T-boards are not in it, but the only differences with the non-T versions are the DDR3-slots instead of DDR2-slots.

I think the DS3P will be a little better in overclocking, because it has better cooling.

Since this is an "bios/info" thread I will post my findings here. I read a review at legionhardware that the xp-120 fitted with the crazy cool stuff. It does after u remove the backplate and twist the crazy cool heatpipe to clear the heatsink:

    Thanks Hiwa,

but I refer to advanced timmings in Bios when Press Ctrl+F1.

Can you post your voltage settings in bios too ?

Sorry, but I can't do more than 490 FSB.

Do you think that 2,45 of vdimm isn't dangerous ?

    Thanks !!!

Hi Hiwa, does high vcore help with fsb speeds? Since your core clock is relatively modest (3Ghz) and you use 1.6v vcore.

I think i can't boot at 500x7 with 1.5 vcore but i can boot 420x9 with same vcore

Lowfat....why not use a 7x multi?...your SuperPi score would go way up.

I do use a 7X multi generally. I was just testing to make sure that FSB was stable first.

I just recently got P35 DQ6 and Ballistix Tracer 8500. But having alot troubles with the memory.
    BIOS F3: Default settings 800 2:3 5-5-5-18 1.8 volt
    BIOS F4: Default settings 1066 1:2 5-7-7-24 2.2 volt

I can't run Memtest86+ v1.70, Memtest 3.2, Orthos Blendtest without my computer hangs up.
With F3 BIOS at default settings, I can run all the tests without problem, but when set manually to 1:2 to run it at 1066 Mhz 2.2-2.40 volt and the freezing came back.

Can stresstest the CPU, even with OC to 3.2 Ghz without any problem and it's the Tracer I having alot problem with.

Thought I got faulty modules, but with BIOS F3: Default settings 800 2:3 5-5-5-18 1.8 volt and 4 Pass without any errors reported. It doesn't lokes like it's faulty modules I got and I got no idea what's wrong here.

Everything in BIOS is set to default settings, all Eist etc is disabled and trying with both Auto/manual set the RAM settings too find the problem with all the freezings.

With Everest BETA 4.0.0 it reports:
    Northbridge: 1.25 volt
    Southbridge: 1.05 volt

    Aren't this too low?

Why cant I install the intel storage matrix driver? It says my system is not up to spec. When I change the bios options from IDE mode to AHCI or Raid mode, I get blue screen on boot up. Catch 22?
