Krullet's SLI containers' rebuild | worklog

Hi

Krullet has sent me his SLI kit for complete rebuild it to use 2 containers on G80 series . So I've put here new bases from mine 3.0 series SLI containers ...I let to tell rest pictures .





Containers staight from Krullet's house .



"Old" kit after cleaning from insulation (it had been sticked, gah, dirt work ) .





After unbrazing old bases ..inside had been much dirt, sth like very heavy oxidations ...I think that had reduced heat transfer pretty good .





I must to cut tubes to fit them for new bases which are ...



BIGGER (new vs old bases)



Thiner container brazed ...



Thicker near done ...I need to make a mod with add some plate to make tube thiner in down part .





Just before cleaning ...

Tomorrow I hope to clean, polish, and insulate them, so I hope to finish work .

Pots have already gone to Krullet, now I have only pictures as a memorial of them .









Insulation is bit unnormal because of it thickness and need to use kit in SLI .
