Is Gigabyte P35-DS4/DQ6 support PCI-E v2 card. I can't find any PCI-E v2 info in the manual/product box or Gigabyte website.

1240mhz@2.02v
Hello.
Yesterday arrived my new mobo Gigabyte P35 DS4. My first impression is great (probably the best board I have ever had).
My problem is when I run Orthos at 475FSB * 7, Everest show 65º in System Temperature and 64º-65º In CPU. I have a Thermalright Ultra 120.
Temps in previous motheboard (Asus P5W DH Deluxe) was 45º in system amb 59-60º in CPU when ran orthos.
Is this normal ?
Sorry by my bad English
What util do you use to measure the temperatures?
I have GA-965P-DS3 and when I changed the BIOS(F10 to F11), the EasyTune5 utility started to show temperatures of both the CPU and the northbridge higher for about 7'C. The BIOS is also showing higher temperatures, but I am sure the temperatures are the same as with the F10.
Try SpeedFan or CoreTemp.
BTW, I've ordered a P35-DS4 and it will arrive for about 10 days.
I want to know, what settings and voltages have you used to achieve 475MHz FSB?
FSB + 0,05
vMCH + 0,05
VDIMM + 0,45
VCore 1,400
I think it depends on the CPU and the default multiplier as in this post:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...70&postcount=8
I can run 375 x 8 but I cannot boot at 375 x 7! If u do the math the NBCC is running higher, thats the only difference. With the e2160 default multi is x 9.

@hiwa
Can you please make some tests with these settings:
CPU: 3.2GHz(8x400MHz)
RAM: 800MHz CL4 4-4-12
Memory Performance Enahnce(in BIOS): Turbo
That's how my system is running and I am curious how it will perform with the P35-DS4 when it arrives.
Thanks
Dont know who/what ever to believe, some guys said that the Gigabyte memory is a "mess", memory wont o/c and compability problems, Thats why I ordered ASUS P5K deluxe, after some readings, I realize that the Asus cooling really sucks, MOSFETS getting very hot, and they got some RAID probs, I am using a pair of Mushkin XP8500(D9MGH) is there anyone who can confirm it will work with the Gigabyte, atm that is holding me back to pick Gigabyte, I got to know today, So i can change my order tomorrow (last date), because I already payed :X So Any help much much much appreciated!!!
Thanks,
We have different SuperPi versions. On mine( Super Pi / Mod 1.5 XS) it needs 16.302s.
Sandra scores are the following:
CPU Arithmetic: Dhrystone: 29310, Whetstone 20531
CPU Multimedia: Int: 176551, FPU(iSSE2): 95354
Multi-Core Efficiency: Bandwidth: 9457 MB/s, Latency: 56ns
Cache and Memory: Combined: 24781 MB/s, Speed Factor: 36.7
Memory Latency: Random: 91ns, Speed Factor: 89.3
Memory bandwidth: Int: 6110MB/s, Float: 6114MB/s
I did the benchmarking on Vista Ultimate 32bit. I guess you were benching on the same OS. If yes, then it P35-DS4 seems to be up to 2% faster than 965P-DS3. It is not a significant improvement in performance, but we'll see how it OC's with Kentsfield on watter.
