    haha, of course it's not the limit.
    ambient=20c
    cooler=HP Xeon Cooler with 4 heatpipe PUT on cpu (mounting not compatiable with SM mobo )
    mobo= un moded.
    cpu= pin moded
    vcore idle=1.26v
    vcore loaded= 1.22v

    I'll throw this setup under cold after vcore/vdimm/vnb mod.
    hope to achieve 4ghz 8core, haha

    I really love SM's mobo, super !!!

    maybe the 2 sticks is the key.
    Kaz-n also used 2 512mb sticks for his cinebench runs at 3789
    All my testing is with 4-1 gig mushkin sticks.
    Try a run at 10x333 to 350 if you get a chance.
    I can do SP1M at 10X333 but thats it..faster and it bluescreens
    and what do you see for temps at full load?

    3789mhz = 378.9*10, ram=378.9
    or if vdimm moded, 378.9*5/4=473.6, haha, that would be awesome

    I havent do vcore mod, SS at 3.5Ghz.
    still have a lot space to go, haha

    I do know he had the cpu's at 1.46v for that run. I don't think he had the memory volts above stock.
    He was also on water cooling.

    LOL. I have to admit when I saw VW posting on 5350 OC results I thought to my self: "Ooh, this is going to be good."

    I'm curious is this with the mem on a 5:4 divider? I cant seem to get mine to run without it. I assumed I had to mod the chip to get it to run 1:1. Am I missing something in the bios?

    I wonder how many PPD it can produce in WCG....

    You need to do the BSEL(piece of elec tape on the G30 pad) to see 1:1 in memory but don't need to do a volt mod.

    That's ok, I get plenty of those days..
    Roll of elec tape, single edge razor blade,fine tweezers, a clean flat nonporous cutting surface and 5x magnification are all you need.
    Even my old eyes did it. Helps if you can get a 2nd party to either hold the mag glass or one of those head bands with mag glass built in.
    REAL small piece of tape to work with!

    Victor - you say Wprime?

    Heres a few hints that you may already use.

    1) When starting up the program, quickly grab the bottom left windown handle of the dialogue button and minimise it to the smallest it will go.... this will give you a big boost.

    2) On Dual cores selecting 4 threads instead of 2 gave big increase. On Kents I didn't notice any/much difference of selcting say 8 threads., but on your x8 select 16 threads... just to experiment in the advanced button.

    Get back to me with your results... or perhaps you know this already.

    Need 4 dual rank sticks of ram for optimal bandwidth, VictorWang.

    I've got 4x1GB Kingston ValueRam 667mhz FB-DIMM's but mine stop at 400mhz... figuring out vdimm mod on my X7DAL-E still. Have VNB figured out I think, but FB-DIMM's are limiting, not northbridge (other than heat, 80c+ without directed air) as far as I can tell.

    lol, thx riptide,
    1) i've tried before but it does slower
    maybe due to os optimize.
    and after mini the window, u can only run wprime for 1time, 2nd time cannot finish.
    2) clowertown have no HT, so 4cores to 8threads, 8cores to 16threads is running slower, and I've tried also.

    for me, i'm now running wprime at least 3times, scores would be better
