as to clear cmos, i found i haven't ever needed to use it, failed oc's recover very well - turn off pc, turn off psu power, wait a sec, turn back on pc hit insert or sometimes i just wait a moment and it comes back at default 266FSB to get into bios so i can try different settings.
I'm using the 0304 bios. I agree about the clear cmos jumper, I've never needed it as the normal recovery from a bad overclock works perfectly so far.

I'm using the latest cpuz and Everest, and so far it's just the one frequency that's been strange.

On the 8800GTX blocking SATA connectors...guess it's just the 8800 Ultra and ACS3 boards that have the problem. Fortunately a couple of the SATA cables that Asus provides have a right angle on one end, which takes care of the problem.

Anyone know what the "DRAM Static Read Control" setting does?

Nice board so far! I love being able to lower the multiplier and run high fsb, compared to the Badaxe2 board I've been using.
