I got mine from ewiz and is also U7150xxxx. I might be in the clear though. I'm using my different sticks of gkx in the blue slots now instead of white, and while these sticks are requiring 2.2v which I'm giving them, I seem to be having the longest streak of stability ever. I'm on large going on 12 hours now. This beats my old record of large/blend for 6.5hrs by about double. I hope I'm in the clear and that by tomorrow, when I wake up, it'll still be going strong . I'm not testing as thoroughly, but serial's U71200731 from William @ DFI. This thread needs more hardware pics.

we have the same ram but I put 2.25-2.3v on mine depending on the FSB. I've not run less than 450FSB on this board so I've not set vdimm to anything lower than 2.25v. I don't get any hard locks like you're experiencing until I get above 500FSB. Again it sounds as though you have something set too tight. What do you have tRFC set too? If auto, try 35 or 42. I have one kit of G. Skill 6400 HZ's that can do 1066 with 2.25v but on this board they didn't do squat above 500FSB.
    Thank you The Nemesis,

but I don't think my problem is tRFC because when I change vdimm to higher values my system is more unstable. If I put vdimm to 2.0 or 2.1 Orthos runs 15-20 min without any problem, but when I put 2.2 or 2.3, in two or three seconds my system stops. Sometimes with this vdimm windows don't start.

I think RMA the motheboard, but my problem is the blackplate of TR ULTRA 120 that seems to be impossible to unhook from the motheboard.

Does anyone know how do it ?

you have prometheus or elpida chips, stay 1.9 to 2v, most of this ram tops out @ ddr990 to 1000, however it gives good bandwidth despite the looser timings..

    @yenclas

As raju has already stated, the chips used for your memory are Elpida. Above 2.1V is definitely going to cause stability problems.

My board reaches 500FSB pretty easily. Over 500 I have to increase voltages slightly, but still no real problems.

If you would, write down your BIOS settings and post them here like the others have so we can continue to compare settings with different memory modules. I'll post mine once I have a chance to find max clocks with 4x1GB.

Lol, this board is so friggin weird its not funny.... I finally got it going at ~540fsb ( 7x) with fast settings and I thought I had it all figured out but then when I move to 8X I couldnt do ...... Using 2 stix or ram is ok but Ive tried all possible combo and I cant run all 4 stix together at 500fsb...... Couple of things Ive noticed, this board dont like 5-5-5 timings and also its really picky with how much voltage you give it..... Also it loves corrupting my hd lol......

This board is as good as everyones said BUT it needs to be tweak properly and the margin of error in the settings is very small.....

    raju,

are you sure that GSKILL DDR800 HZ's don't have Micron D9 chips ?

I thought that this memory always have had this chips.

Yeah they do have D9GMH or possibly D9GCT, but thats unlikely.

it should be d9, but the fact it does not like more than 2.1vdimm points to other chips, I don't know personally as the behaviour of more voltage than 2.1 = less stability is definitely prom/elpida behaviour....

I guess you will have to find out from gskill..

or you might have dying ram, that would explain the problem....

Only 2.3, I was switching from the crucial anniversary to my high binned G. Skill 6400 HZ's. These sticks did DDR2-1200 5-5-5-12 2.3v on Abit IN9 32-Max so I've never put more than 2.3 on them. Though I had powered off the board, removerd power to psu, & press the power button on the board to dissapte any remaining current I can only assume there must've been some left. I was already being very careful with this board as it seemed to stay powered longer than others. Guess I wasn't carefull enough. First time I've ever killed ram exchanging modules. I'll try the freezer I guess.

What is command in the bios to put the memory on 1T?

Also, im not using any IDE devices. Where in the bios can you disable the IDE controller so it will not effect my overclock ?

man...sorry to know the memory stick is dead from a couple of you.
This is really scary...I hope this mobo is not overvolting the ram modules than what we actually set.

Can anyone please explain what's the true purpose for setting GTL+ driving strength?! I read the info on this is related to quad-cores but yet I still some of you change it to mode 2 with a C2D. Is it absolutely necessary to gain stability at for higher CPU or RAM clock speed?? Any performance gain from Auto to mode 2??

I have my OCZ PC6400 OC'ed to about ~930 on 1:1 but even at this clock speed, I absolutely need to set MODE 3 for DDR configuration. According to the OC guidelines from FCG and DFI club, Mode 2 is needed for +1000 and Mode 3 is needed for +1200...and in my case it's totally different. So the overclocking guide specific configuration explanation is probably not the standardized guideline for all.

I did. Did that kill it? Or are you saying change it back for the stick to boot because I cleared the cmos after the sticks wouldn't boot. Tried both and the screen turns on, stays black. Tried each stick by itself, one boots the other gives dreaded 3 beeps.
