    Cooooool

Screw it, I'm gonna postpone getting a new rig (again) and spend the money on a new AV stack instead.

    Phenom, RD790, R650 here I come...

There would be quite a purpose if they offer a nice combo deal...

Well maybe AMD will open a straight online shop that means and in the same I wonder if that will be cheaper than Online stores.I think after the k10 launching, AMD will improve its marketing services.

Please leave this thread alive until we know for sure about this

AMD SHOULD sell it's products directly to the consumer... imagine the consumer savings and the increase in profit AMD could get.

Don't take it the wrong way but I have been playing with the new Intel stuff for a couple of weeks now and next to the performance and stability of NF4 I say IMO its utter garbage and way unstable and just good enough to blow up and nothing more! I cant wait for the new AMD to arrive because quite honestly people make entirely too much of a big deal about Core2 Duo as I only saw maybe a 4% increase in day to day use, now benchmarking and Estroking you're online penis is about the only merit I see any difference in . Oh yea big difference in Encoding Video thats it!

^ If you cant get your intel100% torture stable the only reason is YOU ^

I just bought AMD for the first time in over a year

    X2 3600+ that 'should' do ~3.0GHz going by the batch $ 88AU
    2x1GB Kingston 667 DDR2 pair that does ~ 900MHz ....$120AU
    Anus M2A-VM HDMI with ATI 1250 vga that OC's I hope $130AU

$338AU is a damn good price for a basic rig to torture

Who said my testing was not stable? The new platforms are very immature and flaky and not what I would consider stable if you catch my drift looking at it in that perspective.
