I should have results for my L644G e6600 in a few days, as I'm in the middle of modding my case. Hopefully I get decent results, as from everything I've been reading so far, this batch is kind of "meh."

(figures, I never get good oc'ing chips it seems.)

I'm currently hitting 3.44 Ghz on my L644G that I got on Friday. I really want to hit 500 mhz fsb, but I don't know if that's going to happen .

I bumped my FSB down to 389 and bumped voltage down to 1.42v loaded currently testing 5 hours so far orthos blend

I used to be 12 hours orthos blend stable at 3.6 with 1.48v loaded now I am not even bumping up the voltage but running 3.5ghz I can lower the voltage quite a bit

Sounds like you found your sweet spot. It gets to a point where you need to bump up voltage quite a bit to get little gain. Personally, I'd leave it at 3.5 GHZ if I were you...

Yea - 3518 Mhz (391 Mhz FSB) orthos stable @ 1.475. 3537 needs 1.5v (393 Mhz FSB) - then it goes downhill fast!

That is all I wanted to 3.6ghz, I had it at 3.6 with 1.48 loaded tested it 12 hours orthos blend a week or two later test it again and it fails almost instantly

I still dont understand why it would do that, not like my cpu is degrading after a couple weeks ?

Anyways yeah I think 389 is going to be the sweet spot for me just went 6 and half hours blend so I dropped down the Vcore twice and she failed after 12 minutes so I bumped it back up 1 and we will see how she go's, if it can last I will bump my ram back up and see if I can get orthos all night

Yes check this out one of my earlier posts

I am stable at 3.6ghz now I am not with the same settings ? anyone guess whats up

so where do most of you buy your CPU's? Looks like my desire for hitting 3.2 stock vcore shouldn't be that difficult...

I think I got my 2x E6600's from NewEgg one is a FPOP/BATCH L632B444 and the newest one I just got is a FPO/BATCH L640A823, being anal about complications and too many settings, I fold Linux SMP 24/7 with both cpus OC'ed to 3.2 GHz and with a vcore of 1.40v. I pushed the first one to 3.4 GHz, but I was using 1.475 vcore and ran a little hot (I think about 56c 0r 59c load at ambient 20c) I like to keep the temps to about 50c or less for 24/7 folding
