AMD: Barcelona quad-core 50% faster than Intel’s quad-core Xeon

I like the dual 1207/F mobo's but it's hard to go that direction if you know Intel has the better product atm... Chances are a single Q6600 outperforms a dual FX72 setup.... at half the price..

Can't disagree with that logic at all.
Keeping cost as a consideration today I think the best bang for the buck is a Q6600 rig.
