Don't get me wrong, I love the silence of my yates, but over the years, every fan I've seen die has been a sleeve bearing type. They get noisy, then they die.

Cheap enough to replace, but I have a feeling these won't last for 5 years+ like the ball and fluid dynamic bearing fans.
