Nice OC zolkorn. I did 103% of this CPU last year but on a stock cooler, too bad, I was under NDA so I can't even post any benchies hehehe. I even do 100% OC of an unreleased E2160 on stock cooler this month, but no benchie due to NDA.

    Great job once again....

This is with boxed cooling and 1.7Vcore (suicide shot). My IHS is terrible so need to lap or remove it sometime, but I need this computer so it will take a while. It's a week 47A.

    Specification
    Ram: 2x1GB G.e.i.l. DDR2 Ram 5-5-5-18
    VGA: X1950Pro
Mobo: Asus P5B Deluxe (niet gemod)
    CPU: E4300
    PSU: Coolermaster Igreen 530Watt

I think almost all E4300 are capable of 100% OC on air. At least a suicide shot.

@Venom_crusher: Do you have your IHS lapped or removed?

    Hi!
Can anybody tell me which are the best e4300 cpus? I mean which are the best production weeks or model numbers for overclocking.

The Q640A that the OP has looks pretty good to me , not to mention some of the other monster OCs posted in this thread

    Congrats on the nice OC!

I just got in a Q640A e6300. Any chance the results from these Q640 batches of e4300s would translate over to the e6300s? I realize each chip can be different but wondering if there could be any correlation b/w batches of 4300s & 6300s? TIA.

Mine is L650C547 and does 3.15GHz (350x9) on 1.425v (bios), 1.39v under load.
That is on P5W-DH deluxe with Ninja revB.
Probably has an FSB wall at 390.

Though I dislike the temperature it's putting out. Using TAT 100% load test I get 87C for the cores :/
I reseated the Ninja a few times, but it's just a few C difference.

Though CoreTemp 0.94 reads the temps about 15C lower cause it thinks tJunction is 85C, while TAT figures 100C. :/

If I up the vcore, I can go higher, but the temps just go to high...Also the FSB wall prevents me from 100% OC.

    Greek air cools better....

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=320399

1.75V from Bios, reading 1.68V. Modified Schythe Mugen is doing its' best to cool down this chip, though after a try to increase the fsb from AI suite... it crushed.
    Anyway, still a good try.
