Hey, bling was never meant to be tight fitting, and I think they contribute to the bling effect in a different sort of way I think I'll need to get some in the future.

Haven't loaded it with it all together yet so I'll post that later.

Where do you live? I ask because 33C idle on a stock E6700 sounds high. My X6800 at 3.8ghz with 1.44 vcore idles at 33C.

That turned out really nice. The hd mount is just short of genius. I might have to use that idea if I ever need to free up some bays on mine.

And I agree. Black cable sleeving would be better than the red. But, the red is SO much better than that sleeving you had on there. And it is kind of a nice contrast. Don't listen to these yahoos. That sleeving was UGLY!

    Fantastic job. Very sexy.

It's beautiful. Really well thought out masaville. I can only hope that my build comes out nearly as nice.
    Congrats,

Well done , how did you mount your hard drives in the 5 1/4 bay ?

I thought of mounting a hard drive where you did on the side of the 5 1/4 bay, how hot does that drive get ?

but wow dude it looks good

You can buy a 5.25" adapter bracker and mount drives on both sides of it, one right side up and one upside down. It allowed me to use up the space at the top of the case where there is no bay. I got rid of it after I decided to mount them on the side with the mini L brackets.

The drives on the side don't get any hotter than if they were mounted in the 5.25 bays. I monitored temps under idle/load and they were basically the same.

this looks just great, I love the TJ07, and this is the best TJ07 w.c. implementation I've ever seen, really great job.

like a month, I could say it was worth it, but I'm sorry I didn't have more money for a TJ-07 or a U2-UFO, that would be great, this way I don't have enough room for anything, but the results are ok for now, I'm planning another loop, a U2-UFO and other stuff, cause this P180 is just too small, it is made for aircooling not some big w.c. setup. but your system is great, with minimum modding, really clean and pro, hope you get it to 4GHz 24/7

I had the P180 before myself. Lots of modding required to turn it into a w/c case. You're right, TJ07 is much more flexible, but does cost an arm and a leg. Not sure why they charge so much for it though. It is a bit overpriced.

Looks great when you paint the entire system like you did one color. Very sharp.

the only thing i would like to see different is cut the midplate of the case so you can use the bottom outlet on the second vid card; get rid of the loop of tubing in the middle of the case.

Other than that, i love it!

Only was to do that is to use a 90 fitting as the hose would hit the radiator and kink. Great idea, but there's literally about 1.5" at most to bend the hose....won't work.

Nice rig btw. That's a lian li v2000b plus case you have there?

hey masaville, killer looking rig you got there. Im looking at getting a TJ07 case myself, they retail about £200-£230 here in the UK. Very pricy but hopefully worth it. What do u think about the build quality? is it very heavy? Im looking forward to getting it all set up really, my watercooling setup is a little dated now, and with my E6600 (B2 stepping) i get very good overclocks at low voltages but still finding heat an issue (hot PWMs).

Build quality is superb. Definitely heavier than my CM Stacker 830 was as the aluminum is quite a bit thicker, but not so much that you can't pick it up. However, with everything in it (2 rads, 2 pumps, etc.) it's pretty darn heavy and I wouldn't want to hall it around without a set of wheels on it.

Surprising, it cools very well in comparison to my old 830 as it has the side vents along both sides at the bottom, 2 fans up top, 2 92mm rear fans, and optional front fans. No complaints with temps at all.

Very pleased with it. Quality product. The other case I considered was the Lian-li v2000b II Plus, but I'll try that in my next build.

If you're only using 1 rad, 1 pump and 1 res you can easily fit them inside a TJ07. A 480 rad with 220mm res and pump will fit no problem.

Well i was considering the thermochill PA120.3 and PA120.2 and mount the like you have done. Im also looking at the Laing DDC-1 Ultra 18watt pump with maybe a swiftech storm cpu cooler. Not sure what NB cooler i want yet but i want the loop to go something like pump-cpu-PA120.2-NB-GPU-PA120.3-res.

A friend of mine has the Coolermaster Stacker STC-T01 and it weighs a ton with all his watercooling stuff in it. (here) Im hoping the TJ07 wont be quite as heavy.

Hope you don't mind if I chime in here.

The TJ07 is a fantastic case but it has a few issues. It is freakin heavy when loaded up. I'd say mine is at least 50lbs. But that's to be expected from a case this large.

The side panels can have some fitment issues. Because the main portion of the case is one piece of bent aluminum the side panels are actually custom made to fit each individual case. Mine has one side that doesn't fit just right. It fits ok but could be better. I called Silverstone up to see if I could get a replacement but they said the only way to do that would be to replace the whole case. Not an option for me after all the modifying I've done to it.

The last thing is the optical drive cage. They don't give you slots to adjust where you drives sit or at least not long enough ones. I actually had to lengthen the slots on mine to get my drives to sit in there and line up with the front bezel just right. This was the same on my TJ06 also. I talked to Silverstone about it and they said they'd work on it. Hehe, I won't hold my breath. But it's easy enough to fix with a dremel or file.

Other than those little things this is the best case I've ever owned. Especially for WC'ing

they seem like little issues to me and im certainly not adverse to a little 'tinkering' to get it just right. It cant be easy to get such a behemoth of a case to perfect finished standard (although for the price one would expect it to be flawless). No doubt i will do a few small mods to the case before its in its completed state. I must admit though weight is a small issue for me as i cart my PC to my mates house about 5 times a year for a mamouth gaming session. Pizza all weekend lol. Im sure if im really careful it wont be a problem

Hmm....bummer about your side panels. Mine fit great. Didn't run into the drive bay problem, but of course it depends on what you have.

If you cart it to your bud's pad get some wheels on it lol. He's right -when loaded up it's heavy!
