    yeah i know what you mean , my previous chip was really power hungry too. i had it running at 3.05mhz and i had to pump 1.61 to it in order to keep it fully stable.

    I have used 1.6v on a box cooler on my E6600 to reach 3.8Ghz .
    But just for a few hours, i think after reading this topic ill stay under the 1.6v.
