As far as I remember the Firestix were at 203$ due to a pricing mistake but people still got it. I believe the price went up a bit though later.

I am able run one of the sticks @ 525MHz 5-5-5-15 2.3v on intel XBX2. The other on can run @510MHz with the saming settings. pretty good for the price.I think they may reach higher frequency at 680i or 965 boards.
