Like I said, better try soldering them back on a BGA soldering machine (cell phone service should have one) than throw them away. If you try they might work, if you throw them away they will not work definitely.
A friend of mine once moved 8 memory chips from dead Radeon 9800Pro to another Radeon, and it worked without a glitch.

BTW if they worked and OCed well that would really be extreme you would have something to tell about your granchildren
