g80 core is much smaller than the ihs so there should not be any problems.

It's not BTX, because then the motherboard would be mounted on the other side of the case. And the GFX cooler would be ontop of the card... It is a really weird custom board.

It IS a BTX board. But that is not a "native" BTX case.
Take a look at a Micro BTX board:
