It seems that there are two different versions of 8500 SLI Ready available.
One (that Victor also has) uses 8-layer Hsien Jinn PCB (same as FlexXLC)

The other one is using a standard 6-layer PCB.
    Both versions are using D9GMH.

price is now $199.99 with $10 rebate so $189.99 with free shipping at frys.com

i am thinking about picking it up since it seems like my d9gkx ddr2 800 isn't going to happen at $185 shipped.

Is there any way to tell such as P/N or something?

You can look at the pcb, usually there is a spot on the edge where you can see 123456 (6 layer) or 12345678 (8 layer). Each number is on a different layer.

just wondering, if you had a choice, would you rather pick up this ram for about $210 after tax shipped.

    or the Firestix ddr2 800 (native 667) d9gmh for $185 shipped.

I have the $185 d9gmh but i am trying to get it to be d9gkx which is native ddr2 800, but the $10 rebate is ending on the ocz sli in 2 days so i may get stuck with the d9gmh firestix ddr2 800.

Would you cancel the order for the ddr2 d9gmh firestix, and get the ocz sli for about $25 more, or is it not worth it?

I know ocz has the warranty up to 2.4 v, not sure about firestix, and what are the chances the firestix can handle 2.4 v?
