Sucesfull LN2 benching is 100% about load control and temperature swing. It can't be any other way when benching with 3 units.
Couldn't get a better validation on them then from the Worlds greatest "power user". Sick clocks![]()

The other VGA is cold buged at -105*C during going into windows and -115*C when idle into widnows.....It can do 1000MHz with a bit difficulty (one time does and the other not) due to higher temp and it's rams can do 1296MHz....![]()
BOTH of them can easily do 974MHz core and 1242MHz Rams - for the time been with a few fast testings...![]()

Look at it this way: Cooler PSU -> More stable voltages -> Less Voltage required for running high clocks -> Cooler VGA temps -> Less LN2 to run the cards!Originally Posted by hipro5
So overall, it would result in higher clocks, with less voltage, and less chance to kill HW! Wow, I'm brilliantlol....
Look......For the time been and till I construct MY PSU, I bench with FOUR PSUs.....One for the main rig, one for one VGA, one for the other VGA and one for all the fans.....Originally Posted by s7e9h3n

Hehehe..I was just kidding George.....but just out of curiousity, are the PSU's for your VGA's dedicated 12v supplies? Or are they just normal computer PSU's?Originally Posted by hipro5
Yes all normal computer PSUs....Originally Posted by s7e9h3n

Lots of 1000's there.![]()
How do you deal with the multiple grounds when using all those PSU's?
While we're on the topic of your PSUs... How do you load the 5v rail on all 4?

3770mhz CPU 2600mhz NB | DDR1040 5-5-5-15 | 900/1250
No problem with that at all.....![]()
One is main.....Second is only for fans.....The other two for the VGA's are OK....
I've tested about other 4 with no luck......They didn't start without drawing currents and one Forton, shuted down from overcurrent protection while the VGA was under full load....

I wonder how much power would a quad at 5ghz ~1.8V (or how much you need?) + 2x 1Ghz cards each at 1.8V would draw![]()
