    ur temps are fine candymancan.
    they are exactly the same on my watercooled chip 334x9@1.55v, although i also have two x1800´s in the same loop. AtiTool reads 40°C on the vidcards during an Orthos run.

    I have my rig stable at 2880@stock volts.

    I was taking a screen capture and I noticed that cpu-z was showing my 165 as a toledo. Is this A bug with cpu-z? I am not an expert overclocker I think that I need to start tweaking my ram and see if I can get some better timings. Anyhelp would be great.

    1,36v is for 1,4v in bios when set manually, real stock voltage imho is when it's set to Auto and it's about 1,29-32v in cpu-z ^^

    edit: I havn't read your sig, you've asus. I'm talking about DFI nf4 D ...

    Well I guess add LCB9E to the list of 'don't get if you want to hit 2.8'. The highest I can manage is 2.736 @ 1.425V in bios. It doesn't like anymore voltage even though it runs cool as can be. I can't even load into windows above 2.75 ghz. Oh well, still a great processor so I'll be keeping her.

    I knew it..finally 2007 939 Opteron chips are showing up. Hopefully we'll be seeing some amazing proc's with darn good refined mem controllers and processes.

    Or...they will use all the crappy chips for the 939 since there is obviously a lot less emphasis on it(lowest priority for AMD).

    @DevilCry thanks man!
    I prefer this multiplier becouse my mobo then change the divider to 180:200 so my ram run now a little over the 200 stock..otherwise i should go to 3GHz to have the ram run at stock speed..(Asus dont have this divider in bios settings..)

    @xforce
    I bought this in Europe-Greece and i know also from other forum that in Germany they offer right now the same steppings....

    Perhaps its time to buy a new pump and block or something but seriusly... The only way i can get my core temp to reach in the 40's like some of people is if i put my pump in water with tons of ice and unplug a hose to suck that cold water in. Then my block and hose's and even the socket from the touch are cold.... yet you people who claim to be on regualr water are getting readings the same as my chilled water ??

    Or are you guys running chilled water systems to get these temps ?

    My MBM5 readings are saying like 30c load when chilled , when it isnt chilled just normal they read around 46c load which is what im see'ing some of your "CORE TEMP" readings. How are some of you getting core temp to read the same temp as ITE smart gardian also like some the pics iv seen youre core temp and normal temp readings are the same

    That or i have a reading problem cuss for me core temp always seems to read like 10-20c warmer then mbm5 or ITE smart guardian... Here isa pic of the normal water no chilled temps....

    A friend of mine just received a OPTY 170, his stepping is LCB9E 0651MPMW
    I haven't seen this stepping before, anyone else got some input on this stepping ?

    From what I've seen around the LCB9E stepping has been sort of inconsistent. I've heard them as high as 2900 and as low as 2500's, with varying voltages but nothing to brag about.

    Hope you get one of the better ones.

    only one and it apperantly doesn't overclock, but don't take my word for it tell your friend to give it some juice and find out for himself.

    My 185 is a CCBBE 0613MPMW and it does 3Ghz on stock voltages. Granted it starts at 2.6Ghz stock, but it seems ours were just maufactured at different times.
