E6850 and QX6700 on DFI INFINITY Intel P965 Test

I received New BIOS from Oskar Wu. The BIOS is perfect for E6850, Conroes and Kentsfield.

Oskar already solved High Voltage DRAM problem.

I think the mobo will be available in few weeks.

This board is making me rethink my asus p5ne-sli 650i choice. This board is on the 1066 strap isn't it? If you could, I'd like to see max memory OC with decent timings. The quaGT tops out at 1130mhz or something like that, and I'd like to see 1250mhz. That factor and the price will make my choice.

This mobo is 1066 strap for sure. I will test high memory mhz in few days.

.......I'm speechless...548.9fsb??? I must be dreaming. I know I keep asking a lot, but you wouldn't happen to have an e6300 or e6400 laying around would you? I would LOVE to see that fsb on either of those chips. Other than that, What is the max memory frequency at 5-5-5-15, and 4-4-4-12. I see you got at least 549mhz out of the memory at 4-4-4-12 so I'm drooling at the thought of what the result will be.

damn man. 500fsb with 1.25vmch and 1.19vtt. that's wild. just wild. I have a feeling I'll be ditching the p5b vanilla that I don't even have yet for this when this comes out.

Also, it's interesting the qx6700 gets reported properly by orthos when you lower the multi. Is it like that across the board with that chip? Like system properties etc. Also, why a higher vtt in that one for 400fsb?

    nicely done

What's the max stable speed with Kentsfield? Also what's the max stable speed while using the highest possible FSB?

I may have to get this and a 650i based board. That will depend on the price. Amazing results so far.

kentsfield need some VTT voltage, especially high fsb.

I use 8X because of this kentsfield is unstable on 3.6G.

I'd like to see some e6400/e6300 tests too if it's possible. Quadgt seemed to like e6600 better than e6400/e6300 according to bingo13 ->http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=162

I too would like to see some results with a E6300/6400. People are more likely to be running those than expensive quads at this time.
