When i'm being paid i always do my job through.
IMHO I think ATI has had better drivers then Nvidia for a long time now.
I like their drivers, I don't like the bloat that comes with them though. CCC consumes too many resources while sitting idle, don't know if it changes when a game is fired up.Originally Posted by Wrench
Doesn't in XP. But the move to CCC as has been mentioned before is not their choice. Microsoft is pushing everyone to switch to .NET. Could easily be many times smaller and more efficient if it was just C++.Originally Posted by Major_A
Nvidia has them, they are in beta, and they are just as bad if not worse.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.
The new CCC is not all that bad @ all. Much quicker and slimmer.Originally Posted by Major_A
Good to hear, I haven't used an ATi card since my 9800 Pro. Now I'm waiting on the ATi DX 10 cards and will determine what I need from there. I'm not a fan of any company, just a fan of cost/performance. I can say too that I'm not much of a fan of the new nVidia control panel. I like my classic style damnit, and apparently you can't use it in Vista.Originally Posted by nr2134
