i must say, that is rare for promos to scale like that. from what i've seen, it gains minimal mhz from running timings looser than 4-4-3.

Is not D9...these modules scale very well with voltage, but require some serious tweaking for stability. too much volts and they will loose stabilty, too little and they won't even boot. you gotta massage them real nice.
Promos IC does not put out heat like Micron IC...so seems ok for long-term high-volts, assuming that you are running them right. Very sensistive to load put on them...so 1200mhz may be stable @ that voltage while low CPU mhz are kept, but crank up the cpu speed, and mem gets less stable.
This ram is not for the un-initiated tweaker. Based on what I have seen, Corsair stepped otu big with the whole dominator fiasco. Promos dominators behave the same as D9's..volts needed and all, but the mhz windows for used voltage is very small...especially when cpu speed climbs.
I prefer promos from D9's...my GSkill promos does 4-3-3-5 @ 425mhz 1:1, 2.12v real.

Its seems lately the Promos stuff has kicked up a notch or too. Whether the ICs got better or PCB design changed to suit them I don't know. But Anandtech mentions briefly them being able to get 3-3-3-9 DDR2 800 at 2.3v with the new Team Xtreeme Dark series (Promos)
I'm right now not even tweaking but have them running 333mhz @ 3/3/3/5 @ 2.3v. Not even shedding a tear.

Shamino got 600mhz too on these... 510mhz 4-4-3-5 timings 2.3v pretty impressive... He confirms Promos on these.

Mark, there's actually a trick to that. I noticed the same 'problem' with my sticks, but I Tony gave me a little tip. Try write to precharge of 11, as opposed to 10. 10 from what I gather is actually quite tight for these Promos sticks.

Is it just me or is your sandra bandwidth kinda low for 965p? I get around 11k @ 515 4-4-4-6 on p5b dlx with d9. e6400
set your Write Precharge Delayed two values higher than where Write to Read Delayed (tWTR) is set.

Trtp is not Write to Precharge... Trtp is Read to Precharge (Write doesn't start with an RTrtp...
