2007 Mustang Shelby GT-H / will it fit

Do you think my tripple stage cascade will fit in it? Through the doors or does it have hatchback or trunk?

    Does the seats fold down?

I called to get specifics and got an genius who could only tell me 12.3 cubic feet.

Make it fit? I plan on hauling ass to Frisco and I am not dicking around.

    Will it fit?

That picture is belying... I honestly don't think it will Charles. Maybe through trunk if back seats can fold over. Than I would worry about height clearance between the trunk and seat area...

    Don't think it'll fit either.
And even if it did fit, I would never take any risks on "damaging" a brand new Shelby GT-H

Its a rental... I should have mentioned that.

I may have to drive down and measure, hoped someone had something close.

Is it a hatchback or trunk lid?

The GT-H's are sweet....but I'd be surprised if that cascade fit.

Hmmmm, Hertz does treat their GT-H customers with priority I've heard....maybe you can give them a ring and see if they know or have one on site they could measure?

I will try again, the first guy wouldnt, he didnt have any answers other than one was available for reservation and sq ft storage. At this airport they have a wide selection to choose from so it may be something else.

Hiya Fugger The GT-H is a sweet car in deed. But I know Ford has not produced a hatchback model since 93. That was the old Fox body after that the mustang was just a 2 door and trunk called the SN95 same old fox body new skin and no hatchback. I have a 2001 mustang GT myself. I know its the older body style but still alittle the same. I know the new Mustang on a different platform but the prinicples are the same. If the trunk is anything like mine. No way In hell you going to get that threw the trunk. Only way i see it fitting is if the rear sits fold down. Which they should and sliding your cascade threw the front doors to the back mit want a friend there to help as that thing looks big.
BTW dude you talking about a sports car nothing big in them but the engine clutch if stick and the rear tires lol

Shipping would potentially kill the thing as well as extremely costly not to mention no idea if it will get delivered in time. Think that thing probably weights a little over 200 lbs...

I wanted to check it out, I get a discounted rate so its about between midsize and luxury.

Shipping this is out of the question, it would get hurt.

Just go the airport and hop on a cargo plane . Worked well for me once when I had heavy/fragile cargo to take. The getting back is the problem, but you can always just rent the car for the ride home.

Are you taking this to Northern California, Charles? Maybe just rent a small trailer as well. U-Haul has a sports trailer. Might go well with the Mustang.

Yeah i was gonnna suggest the trailer too. No way you are getting that beast in unless you pull the passenger seat out directly and put it side-to-side on the back seat. I know you're not a 6'6" guy, so the seat being a bit forward shouldn't be a big deal, but by now you coulda gone to the local ford dealership(where i would have called, and not Hertz) and got the proper answer!

+1 for trailer, and no it's not a hatchback

I'd feel better going fast if it was in a minivan/small cargo van tied down properly

I doubt it would fit either...

How come you want to take it that far anyway? Maybe you could take a smaller cascade?
