    Benchmarking at Dreamhack Winter 2006!

Here at the annual Dreamhack Winter, there are alot of good hardware, 8800gtxs, kentfields and motherboards.

There are two exhibition booths where there is benchmarking going on, Techsweden.org and Nordichardware.se/com. Here at TS elmor, Gogh and Stoolman are playing around with some serious hardware, and 210 liters (!) of LN2, and over at NH we have crotale and Kinc.

crotale and Kinc started with the Striker and SLI wedneday night/thursday morning, but got problems with heat on the chipset, as the analog pwms are warming up the chupset thru the heatpipes. With air on the cpu they could get some extra fans in there and get it to work, sorta. They will fill you in later I suppose.

elmor, Gogh and Stoolman are testing some cards atm, and Marquzz are modding another one. They have run some 3dMark01 and scored 87k singlecard so far, atm they are tesing one card and modding another. They have a total of 5 gtx-cards we think, you'll find hardware everywhere.

Some pictures are posted below, and links to Techsweden and the forum for picture-threads.

http://www.techsweden.org/forum/view...=173504#173504 Kinc and crotale. They got ~1420 nature, and good in the other tests.

Stoolman is playing around with single gtx, 950-975 core atm. Elmor is playing with kentfield, he is replacing the cpu with anotherone, 4,8 wasn't enough apparently.

1420 fps nature means a 5GHz+ cpu and monsterclocks (900MHz+ core and ~1200MHz mem) on a 8800GTX SLI setup.
Getting a good run with that rig has got to result in 100K '01 easy.

    Bring it on guys!!

Which means that they've achieved the 3Dmark03 record with 85023 points. Together with an EVGA i680 and an X6800@4,8G'zzz. I guess you all know what GFX's that were used.

damn this collection of hardware and ln2 looks like we'll have some records very very soon.
gl on further runs almost 90k single card should be the highest 01 with one card only, or am I wrong?

No WR for Techsweden this time, except for the highest count of Intel Extreme-edition cpus / m2 for non profit organisation (4x x6800 b2, 2x x6800 b1, 3x qx6700 b3) and most consumed ammount of LN2 in one day (180L in 24 hours )

We had a hard time dealing with the evga-board (NordicHardware aswell) and we decided for running 01 even though I though we could have some nice numbers in 06 with ~900/1200 + kentsfield @ 4780Mhz. We were limited by fsb (~320) and multi (max 15x) for kentsfield, and with X6800 we had a hard time over 4.9ghz.

Even though we didn't get our expectations fullfilled I still had a great time and I really look forward til next year. For now the aim is set for the Swedish Overclocking Championship running through all december
