    X6800@5062MHz under Cascade [5001MHz=Spi1M@10.062s]

    System:
    X6800 L628A937
    Quent's Asus P5B-Deluxe (Vdroop by Quent; Vcore, Vdimm & Vmch mods by Before)
    STT Before's Xtrem 2*512Mb
    Windows 2k3 Server (tweaked by Before)
    Western Digital IDE 80Gb
    2-Stager Unit @ -100C

    Vcore = ~1.86V (1.84 to 1.90V)
    Vddr = 2.74V
    Vmch = 1.87V

    I've performed some benchies with my bro Quent this week end. The first processor we managed to test was a X6800.

    We first tried with a Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe but the X6800 wasn't well supported by the board and it was impossible to clock over 4.7GHz. Then, we used a fully volt-modded Asus P5B-Deluxe and after flashing the original bios for the 804 version, the chip booted into windows @5.0GHz with 1.84V (also tried later with 1.74V and it succeeded ).

    We made several Super Pi runs within 5000MHz to 5062MHz, with 2 cores enable and 1 core disable as well.

    Dispite a great booting ability, the chip failed to pass 5062MHz whatever the Vcore we used (from 1.74V to 1.90V).

    [Super Pi 1M Max]

    So close to 9.XXXs...

    Then, we made several Spi1M with 2:3 ratio up to the max for the RAM.

    I'll have very few days more to try breaking this F*** 10s barrier... Quent was very kind, and let me the CPU after our benching session.

    Here's today stuff:

    Improved Spi1M time with a lower operating CPU frequency. I wasn't able to reach 5050MHz anymore today BTW I hardly think 5050MHz is enough to get 9.999s.

    Then I've done few but not bad Super Pi 2M, 4M and 8M @5006MHz.

    2M = 25.000s just time!

    4M = 57.688s

    8M = 2m 9.375s

    Thx guys for all your kind comments...

    Wonderfully executed! That's still easily one of the best clock for clock 1M times out there. (Which we've gotten used to with you )

    Thank you my friends

    @Gautam: You'r very kind to me! I always try to get the best and tweaking windows has became of great interest to me. Thx bro

    @metalazzo: Right, actually I'm not sure the chip can operate significantly above 5062MHz (which appears to be a wall), but as you've said, a colder temp might help to bench with more stability in the mid 5GHz range.

    @Quent: no need to say thank you once again!

    So, I've tried a little bit this morning with a fresh mounting but the chip didn't allow me to reach 5050MHz benchable again... that suxx! Nevermind, 9.XXXs will be for a next time.

    Also, I've recieved 3 E6400 L629A953, 2 E6400 L626A966 and 5 E6000 L627B156 to test for a French reseller and thus I'll not have enough time to continue benching this X6800.

    Best Regards,
    Xavier

    Once again... Faster time with lower clock!

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=143323

    BTW still no sub 10s... I've flashed the bios to the 903 and it looked like the chip can't go as high as it could with 804. WTF that's bad luck!
