Does anyone know if the nTune utility works with the Asus 680i boards as well? Or do they just work with the reference designs like EVGA and BFG?
    No cheese!

Very nice board, very very nice, lots of features.
Glad to see ASUS setting the new standard, they kinda wanted to beat DFI and they managed to do that with style.

Nice features I agree, however i wouldnt say beaten yet at this point, the board doesnt seem to overclock worth a damn right now, which leaves me to beleave why its taking DFI so long on their board, if you think about it, DFI should have had the first board out since they scrapped the 590 chipset and began working on the 680i quite a while ago.

Even the EVGA retail boards dont seem to overclock all that well, most being stuck at 450 which isnt to to bad, but 333 for a $400.00 board is sad, mine as well buy the 590 chipset and save a couple hundred bucks at that point. I hope that things will change with some new more mature bios.

I haven't seen coolaler gone higher than 333fsb on any of his runs. Usually we would see max fsb as one of the tests.

Too True, ASUS boards are some of the best overclockers around, not to mention they also look good

No 680i boards overclock well with Conroe or Kentsfield, so it's not just ASUS. We'll see when they're launched, I mean the ASUS and the others, maybeby then they'll make some BIOS tweaks or something.

He doesnt have the faceplate on, either the faceplate lights up or its led's backlighting the faceplate (prolly more likly) Not much point in messing with a faceplate though if you have it on a bench like he does.

Heres a Link that some pics of it lighted if that helps.

Apparently, all reports indicate that Allendale does over 500MHz FSB, but Conroe and Kentsfield do around 400MHz FSB. Not a great result, but...hopefully will improve in time.
