    Simple SLI/CF containers rev. 1.1 / rev. 2.0

    Hi

It's SLI/CF containers kit for massman . They're almost same as mine previous kit : http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...hlight=piotres , only insulation is 9 mm now (for SLI setups), and base in bit another - now it's custom cooper plate, not just cap like in first kit .

    I hope You like it

    Regards
    Peter

Very nice job piotres. I have one very similar to fit single space mobos, but didnt put as much into as you did. Massman should love those!

Can you show insulation of the mounting/gpu head part? Wouldn't such mounting design run into condensation problems?

I haven't mounted them, I have only PCI (non -e) GPU card at home .

After screwing container to GPU, You must use some armaflex to insulate space between container and GPU .

    Great work indeed

Containers will be used 3/11/06 & 4/11/06 when benching the 7300gt's.

And finally that has happend ...rev 2.0

    Change (cosmetic ) :

    - base is now 70 mm wide (rev. 1.x = 60 mm)
    - better polish of whole pipe
    - insulation for pipe made from one piece

Containers has been made for "ATI fanboy" , so insulation is 19 mm thick ...between CrossFire cards is a bit of space .

Rev. 3.0 will be having holes for GF 8x00 series for sure ...that can have them too ..only bit of work with drills .

    Hi

    REV 2.0 LIGHT

Same as rev 2.0, only difference is thickness of cooper plate ("back wall")brazed on the half-pipe - 5 mm in "full" version, and 0.3 mm in "light" version . Weight of whole container is lower, price too .

That container has already drilled holes for GF 8 series, but that don't look very good (too small base) - but will be working on GFs 8 for sure .

I need bigger base to drill nice looking holes for GF 8xxx ...REV 3 is comming .

That kit is for sale, shoot me PM if You're interested, price is very good

    Regards
    Peter
