Finally got my unit in yesterday, set up today and I can say is wow. Even on high setting this thing is quieter then my panaflos on the heater core. All I have to do now is fab up a custom case to sit on top of this and I'll be all set. Current case is nearly 3 feet tall w/ the ss on the desk. Thanks Jinu. Also, new firmware works great.

Possible.. it is really close to the evap though...

For now I don't. The reason I need to build a custom case, that and the fact that it weighs 60lbs.. I have to many people around my rig to leave it outside of a case.

No. You must have me confused with someone else. I'm using it for everything. My 24/7 rig, benching and gaming. The length doesn't seem to be extra long, but I'm relatively new to DD systems.

I am also in line to get mine. Hopefully Jin will have it ready to go pretty soon

Then I just need to find a buyer for my current v2000 (sig) to help offset the costs. Looking forward to taking the next step and venturing into phase

It's first part of the evap

Besides, you gotta think about water delta I made it not TOO efficient on chiller part to handle exact load around 350w tops... and tuned accordingly

Oh and when I moved, I made sure the place was suitable for doing small time production without much hassle... thus the cars are outside

Well here is something that I don't normally post up.... lol modification on pre existing units. They usually turn out suprisingly good

This mach I was modified with desuperheater coil, new suction line and evap and new thermal probe and 300k ohm to make it not beep constantly. (it will even with load with the tuning I did... if I didn't put the resistor)
I might want to use variable pot next time so it reads maybe all the way down to -49c. Right now -46c on it is actual -55c.

And here is a pic of another SS unit in it's case. I am too busy to take pic of all build process lately. I am so sorry for those who wanted to see the process. Another reason would be my workshop is not too tidy quite yet enough for me to show you guys lol

This one is basically same unit as what OPB got while back without LOOONG suction line and the braids

Performance is identical and it should be fun to play with this one. Using NF11FX on this one. I am pondering if I should restock some NF11FX as some people don't mind extra noise it seems for 4-5c temperature improvement.

IMPORTANT
With all the problems I've been having with Golden Froster. Some electronic noise issue and what seems to be heat related issue as well from what I have heard. From now on, I will put MAIN control unit out of system for user to install as I don't want to risk it and can be easier for users to RMA themselves if unit acts up.

LittleDevil, here you go... you wanted how instapak works

You see warmer and first box. I use 2 more at top section which bends to side to protect rest of things not to move.

Once first boxing is done it is time for double boxing using instapak again. I need to find tad larger box but hasn't been able to. This part always turns out real hard for me.

All boxed up and label need to be added. Basically the taping is to make sure shippers know how it should go. Sometimes it works some times it doesn't. Regardless, I didn't have shipping problem using this methodology yet (other than one compressor fall out scenario which I put the inner box wrong way and the compressor mounting washer was... well... WRONG size for danfoss supplied one.. -_-). You hear me Vapor?

Eventually, I hope to have some pre formed outer shell for packing the 2nd box in. But for inner box, instapak is so nice for filling in all gaps in very cushy way to make sure it can handle the drop, etc. They use it quite often for porcelin, etc.
There is reason why I charge $50 for packing... because that's how much it cost me

Instapak (along with other very similar systems) is something I've been thinking strongly about for quite some time.

Nice to see it being used Jin, does a nice job.

I tend to use so much bubblewrap and support structure that it's close to the effectiveness (and cost

) but that system is a virtual guarantee.

I think if you could set up a 'dummy pack' for preforming the shipping enclosure it would save you some work, and make it much easier for re-shipping and return etc. especially useful if they resell and need to ship again.

Both I and my wife would actually have a use for it

so there's a chance I might be 'allowed' one day to get the startup kit heheh

I've often wondered how that stuff was "generated" to fill a box. Learned something new today.... Thanks for the information.
