Ok....after actually looking at what you guys are looking at......I agree.
But what I was talking about....1Gb densities on IC's will allow 2GB modules to be made, etc. regardless of this board being real or fake![]()
Look at Note1:
DDRII667 = PC6400
DDRII800 = PC7100
Look at chipset:
not ligned up like it should be
Like b0bd0le says, tha IO Panel... nice paintskills
I think RD600 was supposed to have at least 2 x16 lanes. Xpress 3200 chipset has this already, so why would they go back to x8.
I hope it won't be purple like the boards on the bottom of the pages...
Its not fake, only home-made reproduction of REAL email from DFI ....
one would think should it be a replica, should they not put more time and effort to be technically correct?

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was
Source of this spec is European retailer of DFI, with very good connections to DFI.
FSB 750 is coming up on horizon.......................

No the original material straight from DFI on this board was never 2X16 graphics lanes. It's has been said time and time again and people refuse to believe it for some reason. The saving grace is supposedly the isolated PCIe lanes for graphics which can be overclocked much further than previous boards.Originally Posted by SMa
Yeah rd600 was believed from the beggining to have 2x8x, i remember because lots of people were angry that it had 2x8 while the rd580 had 2x16.
However, this got lost in hundreds of other rumors and now i dont know what to believe.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The reason for the "mspaint look" is that it is a 16bit image rather than 32bit, hence the dithering. Other than that everything lines up fine, which you would know if you looked at the image for more than 2 secondsOriginally Posted by SMa
Quite apart from the fact that this image is already known to be genuine and was posted a while ago.![]()

<Aleph-One>I believe they are a fabrication. Most of the evidence would suggest that they were created in a studio during the Cold War to display our industrial superiority over the Soviet Union.

You still have to count in the gigabit NIC, each of them takes up 1 pci-e lane.Originally Posted by Nedjo

Ohh crap spec![]()
Yeah, what lazy specs.I thought it
should official:
-Support FSB 1333, RAM 1066 (but anyway interessting what's inofficial)
-missing LP CF Bridge at asses.
may has:
-8 Phase PWM
-2x16 Lanes (because it was ALWAYS stated it has 48 Lanes, also ATI referenceboard and so for WTH should they use it if not 2x16 Slots?)
-1 native LAN we'll see what this LAN "Feature" will bring us.
I haven't seen something about CMOS Backup?
And why has it AMD Certifications if it's an Intel Board? I know Intel don't want to have this chipset but why AMD? j4f since AMD and ATI merged?
What are you talkin about????Originally Posted by camouflage
EDIT (2): Btw. title should be DFI LanParty UT ICFX3200-T2R/G or? As its on Roadmap.
yeah ok please stop talking, i don't even have to explain how fake this picture is, and the pdf that goes with itOriginally Posted by Cobalt
fyi, i had photoshop dither this to 8bit

Nope, officially 1066 FSB, flaunted as 1600 easily possible. That's why if Kentsfield would have been 1333 they'd have been kicking ATi in the balls...At least that's what I took from the license agreement rumors and possibilities. They couldn't have officially supported them per the chipset license.Originally Posted by Topheistos
Instead of getting screwed out of Kentsfield, we will be screwed out of Nehalem (bloomsfield) which undoubtabley will be 1333 native fsb. From my understanding, 965/975/C55 will support them, but RD600 owners will be SOL. This is no doubt part of the reason AIB's pulled out of RD600 development.Originally Posted by digitimes

nice insights you got there.... hope this board rocks..

I thought you were talking about the actual pic of it not the crappy image in there. I thought we had already got over the fact it was a kake after the first few posts and were now talking about the actual board rather than some obvious fake.Originally Posted by b0bd0le

I don't know why everyone thinks it's 2x 16x PCIe slots, it's even written in the PDF file that electrically, they are 2x 8x PCIe slots, and the last slot is 2x PCIe.
RD600 is basically a reversed engineered 975x chipset with improvements.
