    ATI RD600 delayed until October

    According to the Inquirer: http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=34164
I may have to reconsider the ASUS P5WDG2 WS Professional

Delayed? I've read late October for months now.

Other news are that Intel is pressuring alla the motherboard manufacturers to skip the RD600, and that DFI is the only left that will release a board based on the chipset.

I hope this turns out to be untrue as fewer choices is always a bad thing. I do have confidence that DFI could turn out a very capable motherboard based on this chipset. I can't wait to see it......

X1900 was a beautiful launch for ATi. Was the most available and on time release I'd seen. It was probably because it was designed to nail the 7800GTX 512 in the nuts with no remorse whatsoever that made ATi release it on time with full availability from day one
