RD600 for intel confirmed in October, says inq.

WE LEARNED that the contradictory RD600 based boards with three PCIe 16X slots are still in the works. The ATI's acquisition delayed things for a few weeks but the boards are not cancelled.
RD600 boards should even be faster than the Intel top notch i975 chipset but we still have to see it to believe it. Some motherboard partners are still waiting to see the results of the acquisition to continue with the RD600 Intel motherboard project.

Edit - this puts down the rumors of everyone dropping it, sounds the rumor about DFI being the only one with a board for it was right.

See a dell barebone with a RS600 in it told me the RS600/RD600 was not dead if Dell was using them. From what im hearing is Dell will have a full line up of desktops using the new ATI chipset.
