    Got RAID? 4x 320GB 7200.10s in Raid 0 and Raid 5!

    stock 2.4ghz E6600
    Asus P5WDG2-WS Pro
    512*2 Teamgroup XS contest ram - running 667 mhz Cas 4-4-4 because im lazy.

    Raid 0 on 74gb partition

    Raid 5 on rest:




    Post to windows takes 25 seconds...

    What stripe size? How did you pull those numbers??

    Hows the scaling as more drives are added? My 2-way doesnt come close to half of that. Especially not in burst

    Do you actually notice realworld improvements? Like game loading, etc?

    64kb stripe on OS and 128kb stripe on the raid 5 array.

    The secret to burst is "enable write back cache"

    Yes. Huge real world differences! Everything in windows is instant.
