Upgraded from 0502 to 0507 now. Works perfectly. A few new functions aswell. but the major parts are:
    1. Support Conroe CPU ratio adjustment
    2. Fix some DDR 800 frequency will show DDR 533
    3. Enhance performance when using NVDIA 7950GX2 VGA card
    4. Fix fail to read files from some ODDs
    5. Fix "Hit ''DEL'' message display" item function fail
    6. Over 500mhz FSB (but this was in 0502 aswell)

Anyone know if this will cause probs n the UK version of this board. <- may sound stoopid, but worth checking!)

It's just that it isn't listed on their site. It's still stuck on the one before 0502 (although 0502 is in the FTP folder).
It was a long road and one that is now over. Behold the updatedrig:

Yes m8. Not set up though. Like my E6600 and Tuniq Tower.. they're still boxed... My rig is almost all ready though.

All boards are same. So doesn´t matter what country you are in.

I recommend you remove the factory heatsink and put a good thermal paste.

I have seen many reviews for what would be the best thermal paste in the market.

We call Coollaboratory Liquid pro the review link is just in this link

You can use the astalavista to translate the portuguese article.

I have seen also many North Bridge coolers, the zalman is one the best solutions, take a look in this review here.

I hope you will get the results that you want with the P5B. I will be joining you soon with my multimedia system

Edit : Zalman Northbridge Review Link 2

Thermalright HR-05 looks better but is double expensive and is not as silence as zalman, but it may be a good try.

It seems they took this BIOS off of their website however the download link works fine. I am currently using this BIOS without any problems FYI.

That Bios is still there since they released it.

For Asus's stuff especially BIOS, try learn to use their FTP server instead of going through that painfulheavilyflashinfectedbuggedcrappyslowlikehel l web site.

Trust me, it will make you life easier especially for rushing for new official or sometimes beta bios releases.

Do you still need the volt mod to be able to achieve over 500FSB?

Also is a 6300 a good choice to go with this board, i f you can achieve high FSB?

Been having alsorts of problems with this bios, mainly memory errors, it's almost impossible to prime with large FFTs.

    Here's a plan.

Someone mail Asus, tell them the problems and give them the link to this thread. It'd be nice if they could give us an answer here. I'm getting this mobo the Wi/Fi one (just incase there's confusion) and I'm not happy hearing a fair few are getting probs with this mobo.
