0502 can also be found on Asus server. It's the first place you should look at any new BIOS.

    Thanks

    I'm using a 120mm Delta fan (152CFM). It's a benching system, so I don't care about noise.

I don't think the northbridge gets that hot because BIOS voltage only goes up to 1.55v, I believe. The fan also helps to cool the RAM.

Ah, i see. How did you even installed 120mm fan over NB chipset?

If you can take picture from it, that would be sweet.

yes it has but it needs restart every time you change something and this is not the point for overclocking in windows. I need a clock generator that can change the fsb without restart. Anyway with the new bios I managed to push my 6600 to 7X500 through bios. This board have no problem to boot at 500 FSB like Gigabyte DQ6 but it lucks a software clock gen for now.

Just to clarify - Thats the 0502 bios, not the 0505 Andre was talking about?

I just read the "details" on the 0502 bios, as soon as I read "raised FSB from 400-500 I smiled... reading your post above and I'm like

I've found this board here for like ÂŁ130 cheapest so far. I'll be ordering tomorrow. Another component purchased

I just order this MB with e6400. I hope it does not have coldboot bug like my P4C does, after -21c inside the chillbox it refusses to boot. Probably some temp monitoring issue...... Also got Evga 512GT and same Gskil ram as Andre. Now this damn card can also give me coldboot issues like my current 6800U. I have to wait 5 min for windows to load and thats with moded bios......

There's a 0507 bios on both the Asus server and website.

    Link

    1. Support Conroe CPU ratio adjustment
    2. Fix some DDR 800 frequency will show DDR 533
    3. Enhance performance when using NVDIA 7950GX2 VGA card
    4. Fix fail to read files from some ODDs
    5. Fix "Hit ''DEL'' message display" item function fail
    6. Support Max FSB from 500 MHz to 650 MHz

I will try some of the newer bios's this weekend. I should be getting my new PSU today.
