    Yes, D9GMH

If the first 4 serial numbers are > 0605 (eg 0606) then you know they have the Micron IC's

diddo,,,, i have the gigabyte DS3 so ram is limited ot 2.4v (i think)

i am torn between this ram and the temagroup 667

i am really loving what i am seeing with this ram but would like to see the limits of 2.2~2.4v even if its 5-5-5 i dont care.

it does 1100mhz @ 4-4-3-8, totally tweaked "advanced" timings, primed for 5 hours, I don't understand how this ram can do this at 1.8v. It just doesn't use power.

yeah 1.8v is below spec so it should be fine. 2.3-2.4v is fine also with light active cooling.

This is what I've done so far just playing around. 2.4v on the vdimm, it has a 80mm right over the sticks. I have some Patriot Memory PDC22G8000+XBLK coming and I'll see which one I'll keep.

yeah? could you possible take a side pic or something so I could see what it's attached to, am having trouble finding a way to get a fan over my memory.

Actually it's very easy, what I did is I used the regular fan screws and screwed them half way so I can have something to hook the rubber band from, then I used the levers for the RAM to provide me with some resistance to loop the rubber band. I hope did not confuse you. Just make sure you use the right length for the rubber band so you have a nice snugged fit. Even a 60mm should work, but I had this 80mm just laying around.

that's a pretty sweet idea, so it's physically resting on the ram?
