    coldbug (direct die unit)

This is my idea of a affordable direct die unit.

No "spacy" controller is used as to keep it simple.
You start the unit by pushing the button on the front.
The fans can be regulatet with the poti on the back.

    The Parts used:

    compressor: Danfoss NL11F
evaporator: my own one (pics below)
    case: aluminium (pics below)

    The complete unit:

    Inside the case:

    In action:

    The evaporator:

I guess i'm too used to my stacker, but the suction line length that sticks out of the case looks a little short, but maybe i don't have a good handle on the dimensions of the case!.

It does look very nice though, sweet, simple, and effective
I had the fastest 32M Opteron time for about 1/2 day, and I'm damn proud of it

Lol, did you use one of those damn cheap Watercool rads? How do they perform? Do you think I could use a 120mm one from them, so wouldn't need to hack up a HTF3.

You can use the cheap watercool or the alphacool condensers...
Both are from the same manufacturer
