    It gives people an idea what dividers are working well with that stepping and also if the memory controller is strong enough to run those high CPU speeds with the RAM at a high speed as well. For example is probably going to be easier to run a CPU at 3GHz and the RAM at 200MHz then it is 3GHz and 280MHz.

    I had to raise my RAM voltage from 2,8 to 2,9 to prime at 2900MHz and up. At first I thought my board didnt handle the high HTT, then I realised that I couldn't run superpi. With a little higher voltage at RAM it was no problem to run superpi and I could run prime at 3GHz, something that I couldn't do before.

    So it might be an idea to set the RAM to a low clock when testing the max cpu clock?
