I've won one of those CCBBE0610DPWM from ebay. Ended a bit hig$ but still cheaper than in Spain and here I can't know the stepping. The last one I bought for a friend was another CCBWE 0551 UPMW

Next tuesday I'll post my results (if it arrives). I just want something cooler @ 2700/2800 and benchable at 3ghz (see sig for current 165)

Yup, thats mine... It's an 165, IHS on, watercooled (still not upgraded so: Asetek Antarctica CPU block, Hydor L30, Blackice Xtreme 3, and Asetek VGA block on X1900). After 1hr clockgenned to 2900MHz... 45mins so far on freaking stock volts!

Oh you wanna know the stepping? 0610DPMW...

If the chip does that well with IHS on I say leave it, probably not much to be gained from removal and def not worth the risks IMHO.

Well, depends on temp increase if I up the volts... Not tried yet. Most will do well with stock volts but with 1.45+ most will run extremely hot. But that's something I'll find out within a few hours. 11pm now, but this chip will keep me awake, thats for sure!

2930 still going... Can't go much faster with this divider I think... Memory will probably cause BSOD. I wasnt expecting this

    Awesome

4MHz behind my naked 0608 on water anyway hurry it up lol, just prime for 10mins and keep raising until it fails I usually start at some rediculous speed (2.95+stock volts) to make sure I don't waste any time if it will do that. Then back down in increments of 2-5 htt, depending on how stable it was (or don't back down at all )

Well the 170 ccbwe 609fpaw i got does not better than my 165. Runs at 2500 stock vcore, then it needs 1.55v for 2.8 which is the same as my 165.

Rather dissapointed, oh well off to ebay this one goes.

Hmz... >2960 it's being an ass to me. I'll give 702-2BTA a try, brb

Hmmz... Looks like something else is limiting here! Well, running now 3GHz dual prime @ 1.39V now.
Why I think something else is fcuking with me? Both cores would fail within a minute before raising the HTT volts. On the other side, I've tested this board up to 340*9 with my old single core 146. Well, I'll keep you guys posted. 5mins @ 3GHz now

I'm needing 1.55v for 2950mhz and temps are skyrocketing, I think this chip has a lot to gain from IHS removal.

51C right now, I just had a 165 the other day that did 40-44C at the same volts with the IHS on.

    It'll be comin off soon...
