Hi
Some weeks ago I got few rotary compressors ...so I decided to make a single-stage unit with one of that devils, to check how they perform.
Specs :
Compressor: Sanyo C-1RV137H11AA
evap: chilly1 patern (made in Poland )
holddown: PCV 10mm
XV: CPEV Fach "PZ"
condenser: 1 kW, 2 row, alu-cu, cooled by orginal 230 V fan
Refrigerant : R507
Case : Chipboard case, dimensions 51x39x42 cm, painted black, alu mesh on the front panel
others: SLHX
The heart of unit![]()
Evap ..same as always![]()
Making a SLHX![]()
Some pipe work![]()
Filling with R507
That's first run frost![]()
Insulation complete and electric instalation done![]()
Case just after painting .
Complete unit![]()
Let's see what that baby can do:
Very "small" vac .. only sth like -0.97 bara... LOLLL
Some nice numbers, remember that's just pure R507.
Have You ever seen lower temperature in Single-stage unit ??![]()

Mine A64 3000+ Venice benching rig![]()
That's stressed with 3000+ Venice @ 3211 MHz on 1.82V ... -55.5*C evap loaded(during SuperPI) , CPU around -15 to -18*C .
That's ...hym ..idle ..let's say that's idle - mine CPU has a coldbug when it reach -30*C on CPU, so after 5 second of end of SuperPi run I have got -60*C evap and freezed Windows..so really I can't test it in idle
I hope will be able to run @ sth like -60*C evap (maybe evan bit lower) idle on simillar CPU like mine .
That unit is currently for sale .![]()
Regards
Peter
