VF900 vs Accelero X2

I've been thinking, could i have a badly constructed VF900? Maybe the heatpipe does not have the gas that makes this thing work? Or maybe the heatpipe is ruptured somewhere i can't see?

My goal is to get the same temps you have and i'm not stopping until i do.

I wonder what type is being used in the zalman vf900. Could be gas, could be water, could be metals.
