    i remember that the ATI cards used for Macci and Sampsa at the Ibiza's BenchFest (R520 Launch) were Handpicked ones.

    Its a fact. And everyone does it. There are no exceptions anywhere

    A company will give you their best samples, not their worst. They are not going to test and find the one that clocks the lowest and send it to you. Thats not how you do business

    Well I can will tell you this, the cards did 705 out of the box, just about average from what I've read.

    And do you really think they went through the hassel of selecting cards with no cold bug?

    I can see NVIDIA now

    "We are sending OPPAINTER 2 cards, have Billy go to the store and pick up some LN2. Then tell him to take off the heat sinks of all the cards and mount the LN2 to them and check to make sure you find 2 without cold bugs."

    Probably those where. But just because ATI was excited about it's benchmarking event.

    But do you think Intel or NV will start handpicking products? Sure they just send stuff to one or two guys

    Hand picked or not....it still needs a cascade/LN2 to run it @-80ish
