    The R600 will be cooler than the R580, but I don't know it exactly. I don't work for ATI. So....

    this is actually a modded tide.. its a wee bit different.. still has that thermalcrap stink, but its different.

    Might make a good independent chipset cooler though. Maybe mod it for a silent rig to cool chipset, hd, and other crap some people like to cool.
    Looks like it may be a good deal if someones crafty enough to mod it a bit to increase performance.

    The good hink to come out of this (and the new intel cooler) is that we are starting to see WC as becomming a more affordable, intergrated solution. Personally I like the idea of having seperate units like this as it means you can choose to use less space. The problem at the moment is that there are not decent implementations yet. Soon though we should be seeing high quality WC units for the major components like this and then we all get better OCs
