Only physics chip optimisations or a dual core patch will allow 20k - this is now a cpu limited test to the top guys - should rock in 3dm06 though.

    Great scores though.

Truly amazing score! We'll soon be seeing a 4ghz FX57 and not long thereafter 20K in '05 will fall.

Someone want to tell me wtf is going on with that ATi card under the faucet on the 2nd page of the third link? Suicide mission or is that some trick I didn't know about?

Anyway, great work Kinc and Overklokk, can't wait to see more benches with that setup there!

I think they were just joking, or maybe killing the card.
the text under the picture means "watercooling?"

Hehe, we where warming it up, by some reason the computer with that gfx shutdown/crashed, and the 226w pelt where still running, I think you can imagine what happend then, so we used a handdryer, those that you can find in the restrooms to heat the card up so it shouldn't die if there where any water or something else bad on the card. The grease melted under the dryer so we washed the card to get rid of the grease.

And the card (X800XL) works now btw =)

Some more pics in the thread now!
