So whats going to happen to the X1800xt now? Is ATI going to can this card for good? Heck, they couldn't even hold the supply for 3 days which nvidia gave them 2 weeks to sell before the gtx extreme, too bad for ati, i'm gonna miss them. All that delay and still nothing, pathetic no offense.

Well no mastercard for X1800XT to run crossfire till after X-mas.

Current X1800XT 512mb card is available though.

Only X850 and X1800XL series can do CF at the moment.

How about temps? Do you have room for vmods on stock cooling (emperature wise)?

Also, how much air does the fan feel like its moving? Next to nil like the Dell coolers did?

Nothing is going to happen to X1800XT! It’s still cheaper ~$200 and less then 1000 3DMark05 points slower then this beast! Hell I would definitely decide NOT to trade $200 for a 1000 point in 3DMark05, and beside that X1800XT will be produced in faaaar more quantities! This card is only made for less then 15% of this forum members, and showing of on web reviews, it’s a same story like with 6800Ultra Extreme!

6800 Ultra Extreme never made it to retail market. You are already able to buy 7800 GTX 512 MB and it's not even released yet!

He did not get the card from nV but from another company that has them for review/sampling.

And no, the G70 mearly HAS the capability to run various speeds. There are BIOSs floating around for the GTX and GT that run all parts of the core at a single speed. There are also BIOSes where the delta between ROP/geom is much greater. In fact, you can make your own BIOS to be at whatever clocks you want.

babyelf....yeah, I can't tell from that pick what's what, except it's a fancy XFX logo (well, I honestly don't know what the logo looked like before this box, so I can't say if it is fancy or not, but I think it is if babyelf and others don't recognize it).

Stock voltage is 1,5V so there is still room with water/di/ln2 cooling. Imho air didn't feel to move very well..

nah, it was clocked at 2.4GHz. Still a mediocre CPU though. With a good CPU this thing will fly.
