I'm about to start turning up the heat I think.

Anyone got any ideas that don't involve me killing my new card?

(prolly won't take the leaf blower off to peak at core till tomorrow, need sleep first)

I imagine you'd need the oc tool from driver heaven: http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=88559 .

Allstarshop had them for $599 when they got a few of them in stock...now $699

Also, Newegg had 20 of them in stock today, sold out within hours

Bought it from AllStarShop and had it delivered NDA. They shipped their first batch out the same day they got them (yesterday). They are now out of stock.

Any links to the score? Nice card but how can you think about sleep when you have that to play with?

Well interesting. I can max out Overdrive (700 core / 1600 mem) without a problem. Once my waterblock comes in I will try to push it harder.

Wow, these X1800XT's are clocking like crazy. It might almost make me regret leaving ATI for a 7800GT (that is going to be laying around until DFI actually ships the SLI-DR Expert ). But after the price difference....nah.

Won't work with X1800XT I don't think. At least it doesn't seem to.

Oh I'm not thinking about sleep, I just don't want to try pulling this leaf blower off without some sleep under my hat.

I can't get through a complete run of 3dMark05 with mine at absolute max Rick. I'm pretty sure it's my P/S holding me back though. Don't have my OCZ P/S with me right now, it's at home.

Trying to get through a run at highest I can.

Maybe it is me but this leafblow is not nearly as loud as the X1800XL stock heatsink.

Wouldn't know about the X1800XL but I was referring to the size of it, not the sound.

    Mine is VERY quiet too.

I'm gonna have to go home and get my OCZ P/S now.
