    First impression of Opteron 150

Purchased this baby for friend in Spain, I think most people might think this is not a good stepping for CABGE.

Anyway, I don't know if I am wrong , but let's place bet
see if we got the turtle or we got Peter Pan :hi: :wLbb_xd:

after everything setting up, fire it up directly from 3300mhz, too bad, one stick of TCCD was dead, and I don't have spare kit,
but it's a good chance to try the divider

it is about my fx57...wow...how about raise a bit for 3.4g

    pi1m:

pi16m, well now it seems like post good results all need to be verified in deeply,
    therefore, here we are,
    16m pic took by digi-cam:
    1. in the middle of running:

    2.finished:

well, how about catched a 3.6 screen and verification just for fun? (I will assume this can do more

** As I know, CABGE is one of the stepping that less serious cold bug like CABNE or CAB2E.

Hopefully OPB will get a few more days to play with it. Would like to see the max 32M runs under his current cooling, mousepot and strong air. I doubt its owner wants to wait a minute longer to get it though.

Hrmmm...I'd agree that I'd love to see what this does under air. I've been reading a lot about these chips and they all seem to run very hot. I'm wondering if the CABYE and CABGE are being held back because of heat. It may be that they are not clocking as well as the CABNE because they are putting out more heat and becoming unstable from it.

If that's the case, I'd love to see what a CABNE can really do under phase.

In addition, remember, he's running a 150 here so he's got a much higher multi he can use. So the 144 and 146 may be being limited in what they can do simply by their own and the MBs ability to run the HTT required at x9 and x10 multi.

EDIT: I just looked at his posts and look at his temps...-12@3400 and -28@3600. If I remember correctly from his other posts, his phase usually keeps his chips at -40. That CABGE is putting out a LOT of heat!
