    max 1m stable is around 3250mhz ....maybe a newer bios could help?!

    but my venice realy doesnt like high vcore.

    1.45Vc=3150MHz 1m stable
    1.66Vc=3200MHz 1m stable
    1.71Vc=3250Mhz 1m stable

    "picstable"

    Most pathetic thing I've heard all day. 1m takes what? 27 seconds or less to run? Hurry up and post something worth a damn.

    No I think you need some

    Getting a screenshot at 3.5GHz is very impressive IMO.

    real nice attitude from an "xtreme guru" there.

    Wd with you new venice, maybe the newest bios out might help for a couple of extra mhz, but i cant see it helping much more.

    Oh I'm sorry it's THAT hard to run a 30 second or less calculation of pi to 1m... I'm sick of this massive clock screen shot crap with pathetic stable clocks. I'm not alone on this one either.

    If I SS my opteron at 3.8ghz next DI run will I be a god to you guys?

    Even though Afireinside could have worded it differently, I understand his issue and frustrations. We see lots of posts on many different levels that have Suicide screenshots. While its really great you managed to push that far and hard it is yet not a Xtreme OC, only because it is completly unsuable. It would be the same difference as saying i have a car that is capable of 8 sec quartermile times but it just wont stay running. You get the point i think.. I dont think his or my intentions are to thread crap.. But yet are to get the OP to push for the MOST useable xtreme oc that he can with that chip.. Just my 2cents anyhow.

    Pretty much what i was trying to say. XS is about pushing your system to the limits and making it at fast as you can. Or at least that's what it was 2 years ago. There's nothing xtreme about a clock speed that crashes before you can click "ok" to run pi other than xtremely unstable.

    Hello it's almost a 100% OC. You don't see that every day

    whats not xtreme about pushing your cpu to the outer limits where its right on the boarder of being able to run anything, i bet you wouldnt be saying this to people who reach the 4g mark with an fx-57 or whatever.

    superpi 1mb doesnt really prove much stability imo, i would rather see 32mb

    Hey AFI,
    Relax man.....it's only a screenshot. They're not always meaningless - take for example the 4ghz cpu's we see every so often. If the guy's proud of his screenie, let him be - no need to put a downer on his accomplishment

    I'll give credit to ricky and pedro because they hit a speed no one thought was even possible to SS with an FX55 AND they had top notch benchmarks to go along with it. I could care less how high you take a picture of an FX57 because it's all been there done that. OPB, denny, jason, and others have run some amazing clocks through pi with their FX57s but they obviously don't hold the A64 OC record because some monkey with a cascade took a picture at around 4.1ghz and saved it just before the thing hung up.

    You can hate me all you want but if you're going to post a suicide shot of a clock thats been done LONG ago and not even a simple pi 1m run then I could care less as it probably only took you 5 minutes and you expect some kind of reward.

    Thats all I have to say. Back to playing quake 4. Oh and I think I broke my toe today so that's not helping my mood at all

    That is the most retarded thing i`ve ever heard.

    You have to get the cpu to these speeds before you can get it to be stable.
    Massive screen shots like this one are what triggers other people to try and get high speeds and try to make it stable.
